Tell Your Story

Posted by: love4 on: July 18, 2009

I met this beautiful woman, Lisa at a networking event, and I really liked what she was doing to empower women. What she wants to do is put together a book of “Powerful Stories of Women.” These stories about the obstacles and challenges women have had in moving through whatever they wanted to create for themselves.

Lisa speaks from her own experience of learning from other women. “When she left behind all that was familiar and comfortable, it was scary. I had many obstacles to overcome. The stories and support of other women kept me going.”

Now. I want to inspire other women to believe in themselves and make the changes they are deeply drawn to make. I conceived this book as a way for women to share and support other women – with our stories.

You never know the impact your story will have on someone else. Your story may be the one that inspires, awes, cautions, or motivates another woman. By telling your story, you allow her to walk in your shoes. Without your story, she may never reach for that star or open that door to who she really is. Ready to share your story? Submit on Lisa’s website.
Lisa, said she has transcribers who will edit your story. Hopefully, she’ll have a way for you to submit your story via audio.
